Nicky Peeters crowned Platina Cup Champion with Qadance van het Beukenhof
The final Belgian Championship title of Saturday was decided in the Platina Cup, where the standings remained incredibly close heading into the final test. In the end, it was Nicky Peeters who emerged as the new champion with Qadance van het Beukenhof. Eline Borrey de Coninck and Lancelot de la Gesse secured the silver medal, while Sophie Jamar and Venecio completed the podium in third place.
Although Jamar had won the first two championship tests, the Freestyle proved decisive. Peeters delivered a strong final performance with Qadance van het Beukenhof to secure the overall title. “I enjoyed every second of my freestyle,” smiled the newly crowned champion afterwards. “I could see all the people in the crowd and I rode the entire test with a big smile on my face.”

The partnership between rider and horse was on full display throughout the decisive test. “Qadance felt amazing and performed exactly the way I know she can. She’s a very sensitive mare, but today she was fantastic to ride. I’m incredibly happy with this test and with the victory.” With the Platina Cup title, Peeters brought the Belgian Dressage Championships in Lier to a fitting close, claiming the final championship crown of Saturday.
