Big international names on starting order CDI Lier

That the popularity of CDI Lier is increasing is evident from the number of participants from not only Belgium, but also surrounding countries. For example, 18 different nationalities appear in the ring this year. But not only is the organization of CDI Lier proud of this, they also think it is great that more and more famous riders and riders are coming to the Azelhof.

Strong field of participants
During CDI Lier, both participants and visitors are guaranteed of the best of high level dressage. The participants travel all over the world to participate in this competition. That this is an Olympic year can be seen by the big names on the list of participants for the CDI4 * heavy tour. Many countries keep their selections and have CDI4 * Lier in their agenda. For example, on the starting list of the CDI4 * teams from Great Britain, France and Japan, Adelinde Cornelissen, Diederik van Silfhout and Marlies van Baalen are on the list for the Netherlands.

Belgium well represented
The fact that CDI Lier is a home game for Belgian participants makes it even more attractive for them to compete here. With 17 Belgian participants in the CDI4 * Small and Big Tour sections, Belgium is again well represented this edition. Well-known names on the starting list include Charlotte Defalque, Rob van Puijenbroek, Domien Michiels and Jorinde Verwimp who are back at Grand Prix level after a game break.

Dat de populariteit van CDI Lier toeneemt blijkt uit het stijgende aantal deelnemers vanuit niet alleen België, maar ook omliggende landen. Zo verschijnen er dit jaar 18 verschillende nationaliteiten in de ring. Maar niet alleen is de organisatie van CDI Lier hier trots op, ook vinden zij het geweldig dat steeds meer bekende ruiters en amazones naar de Azelhof komen.

Sterk deelnemersveld
Tijdens CDI Lier zijn zowel deelnemers én bezoekers gegarandeerd van echte topsport. De deelnemers reizen de hele wereld over om deel te nemen aan deze competitie. Dat dit een Olympisch jaar is, is goed te merken aan grote namen op de deelnemerslijst voor de CDI4* zware tour. Veel landen houden hun selecties en hebben CDI4* Lier in hun agenda staan.

Zo zijn op de startlijst van de CDI4* teams vanuit Groot Brittanië, Frankrijk en Japan, voor Nederland staan onder andere Adelinde Cornelissen, Diederik van Silfhout en Marlies van Baalen op de lijst.

België goed vertegenwoordigd
Het feit dat CDI Lier voor de Belgische deelnemers een thuiswedstrijd is maakt het voor hen nóg aantrekkelijker om hier te starten. Met 17 Belgische deelnemers in de CDI4* lichte en zware tour rubrieken is België ook deze editie weer goed vertegenwoordigd. Bekende namen op de startlijst zijn onder andere Charlotte Defalque, Rob van Puijenbroek, Domien Michiels en Jorinde Verwimp die na een wedstrijdpauze weer terug is op Grand Prix niveau.
